When selling in your business isn't easy

Sales were not always consistent for me when I started up my business. And some months I didn't know how much I was likely to earn, or how I would bring money in.

When I started up, there are a few ways I generated income in my business, when I first started. One major way was sponsorship. However, I also wrote brilliant marketing plans, did some branding design work, offered 121 consulting and ran events. That was well before I even started coaching or wrote my book. I took my time and paced myself.

We all have to start somewhere, right?

How do you generate sales in your business?

I think a few reasons that we don't make enough sales, are because:

- we are unsure what to sell
- we don't focus on income generating tasks
- we are doing to much
- we are unsure of what we are doing
- we are not making offers
- we lack confidence in our brand.
