đ 3 Must-Know Tips for Festive Marketing Success
It might feel like youâve just taken the Christmas tree down, but blink and weâll be back to Christmas Music season again! If youâve ever found yourself scrambling in November to post festive offers or throwing together a last-minute Cyber Monday campaign⌠today's email has tips for YOU.
Here are 3 key festive marketing planning tips you need to know:
đŻ Plan Backwards From December, Not Forwards From August
Most people start with August and crawl their way forward. Donât do that. Start by setting your December goals (e.g. sell 100 gift bundles, book out 3 festive events, increase visibility) and then work backwards.
Ask yourself:
- What do I need to promote in November to support those goals?
- What content or campaigns should go live in October to warm up my audience?
- What deadlines do I need to hit in September or August?
This reverse planning method keeps your content focused, seasonal stock ordered, and marketing aligned with your goals. If you're working with me on my coaching programme - specific details land in a few days time publicly -Â then you'll have me in your corner to support you with all of this. And even if you're not, don't miss my webinar at the end of this month - it's complimentary and there are 35 spaces - join here

đ Plan ahead so that the festive season should not feel like a sales sprint
Not every post needs to sell. December is one of the BEST times to connect with your audience through a number of methods.
Your brand voice matters. If you only show up to sell in December, youâll be drowned out by louder (and usually cheaper) competitors. And, in some cases - let's be real - their product may not even be a good as yours in term of quality etc, but because you don't plan ahead, you may find yourself headbutting a wall because you don't plan in time. Join me on my webinar for details of how to avoid this. We will get deep into branding and marketing on my coaching programme.
